  EVENTS

Please see our events calendar below in order to find out what we are up to. Details, opportunities to volunteer, and planning will take place on our blog. Please note that we are meeting on Saturdays in 2009 and the time, location, and events vary from month to month. We sometimes meet on the 4th Saturday but sometimes the 5th - it all depends on what is going to be most convenient and effective for us and those we serve.

7/25/09 5:00pm Vineyard at 2225 19th St, Sacto 95818 with homeless friends...

Getting involved is simple. You can be a critical part of these efforts by coming along with us, donating something, collecting socks and gloves at your office (or other supplies), having your kids dream up ways to help the homeless, emailing your friends this website link, getting your church involved, etc.... If you have any creative ideas and specific ways you think that you'd like to partner with us, go for it. We love to see people use their creativity and unique contributions to further bestow dignity on the homeless as well as promote life transformation.    r

OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:

1.  If you bring socks, please fold the socks you bring just as you would for a sock drawer. They are easier to hand to people this way.

2.  Feel free to be creative if you'd like to bring something additional. You are not obligated to do this by any means, but sometimes for our events people will bake cookies, make peanut butter sandwiches, provide hand sanitizer, give out flashlights, bring hot chocolate, pass out granola bars, bring clothing, etc... These are simple creative expressions that individuals dream up, so feel free to dream small and big. Sometimes doing a project with your kids can be very powerful too since they may have ideas that will really bless people on the streets and it is surprising and inspiring to see what they dream up.

3.  Contact us with any questions.
